前言
COVID-19 大流行让消费者迫切希望能够加强自身健康尤其是免疫健康。考虑到肠道健康与免疫健康之间的重要联系,消费者不断加强的健康需求将不仅促进维生素 C 等膳食补充剂的发展,还可能会推动益生元产品的发展。
这场疫情无疑使公众开始意识到饮食和身体抵御外来入侵物能力之间的关系。正如美国 Beneo 公司销售总监 Jon Peters 所述,一项 2020 年的 FMCG Gurus 调研表明,自 COVID-19 疫情以来,80%的消费者希望能够吃得更健康,“这反映在消费者对具有增强免疫健康功能的食品和饮料的兴趣日益浓厚。”
最后,Peters 指出,研究表明菊粉和低聚果糖有助于血糖管理4,“因为它们会使血糖反应以较低的水平上升。拥有健康的血糖水平也很重要,因为血糖水平升高会损害免疫力,哪怕仅仅是在很短的时间内。”
